On thirteenth week,Dr Abdullahi M.I was not around and Mr Adebayo did not come but Dr Babangida came and we discussed about community analysis.
Also,he told us the steps to follow in analysing a community or society,so i understood community analysis as a process of conducting research in other to evaluate or know the information needs of a given society.The class was interactive.An assignment was given to us at the end of the class.

TWELVETH WEK JOURNAL ENTRY OF LIBS 205
There was no lecture on the 12th week because the lecturer was not around.
ELEVENTH WEEK JOURNAL ENTRY OF LIBS 205
On the 11th week Dr Abdullahi M.I did not come on time but Mr Adebayo came early and we started discussing about community analysis. Then Dr Abdullahi M.I came and we continued with our discussion.
a suggestion was brought up by one of our colleague that research should come before analysis, I also thought of it that research should come before analysis because I know research must come carried out before analysis. The lecturer asked the guy what he wanted is it money or mark? and the said mark he was impressed with the and so he gave him both money and mark.
What I learnt that day in class was that information seeking should come before information searching,it is after seeking that you will search. I enjoyed the class that day because I learnt new thing because I never new that seeking should come before searching until that day. Also different questions were asked and they were all answered and contributions were made also and that brought the class to an end, the class was interactive.

There was no lecture on the 10th week, that day was a lecture free day because we went for a public lecture which was organized by our faculty and it also took place in our faculty.
NINETH WEEK JOURNAL ENTRY OF LIBS 205
On the 9th week I was absent, but I asked about what was done in the class, and due to the enquiry I made I was told that the lecturer pointed some people to read out their manual journal entries and he made some corrections he also took attendance at the end of the class.
I missed the class but I wished I was present because I sense the class to be an interactive one. An assignment was given at the end of the class.

SEVENTH WEEK JOURNAL ENTRY OF LIBS 205
On the seventh week we discussed about information and information need, and different definition of the two terms were given I saw information as the knowledge that one gets about something or someone facts or details about a subject, and I saw information need as my desire to locate and obtain information to satisfy my information need.
At the end of the class we were told by the lecturer to write down what we discussed in our electronic and manual journal and we should bring our manual journal along with us to the next class.
The lecture was not very interactive because I was not feeling too well that day.
